What cards should I be looking at to upgarde from my Nvidia 460? The specs for my system are

I7 - 2600/2700 sandy bridge (I dont member exactly which one)
8 gigs memory
dell u3011

I would like to be able to game at the full 2500x1600 resolution with my next card. With the 460 I'm pretty much stuck at the 1900x1200 resolution w/ medium/high detail settings.
 
For 2560x1600, I'd want a GTX670 at minimum. That's a healthy resolution and with games like Crysis 3, Tomb Raider and Far Cry 3 being extremely demanding, you'll want as much GPU muscle you can get and so GTX670, GTX680, 7970 would be what I'd be looking at.

yea that's about what I figured I would need to push the higher resolution.
 
I originally got a 7870 to replace my 460 and it was a huge difference, but then got 7950, and it will probably serve me another 3~4yrs like the 460 did...;)
 
I've been out of the computer world for a while (as you can tell by my video card). Is nvidia planning on replacing the 660/670 anytime soon since they just relased the titan? Actually is the titan series the next gen in card for nvidia or is it more like a 695?
 
660Ti isn't going to cut it running Crysis 3 or Tomb Raider at 2560x1600. If you want to play those, or new titles going forward, stick with 670/680 or 7950/7970. To maintain 60fps min you'll need two cards.
 
would 2 660/660ti or even the 560's be able to handle gaming at 2500x1600 resolution?
