So I'm still rocking my Radeon 5970 with 3 Dell U2312HM's. Been happy with it but I think it's time to upgrade. Playing Arma 3 and Battlefield 4 on low isn't necessarily fun.

I placed an order for a Sapphire Radeon 290x Tri-x (for $609.99) back in December and was told that it would be shipped on Jan 27th, then it was Feb 7th, now it's April 13th.

So here is the question. Should I...

1) Have some fracking patience and wait for the card to get here.
2) Cancel the order and get something else (780ti?).
3) Gamble, buy something else now and try to cover the costs with the card when it comes in.
4) Cancel the order and just wait till something else comes around.

What do you guys think?

Im just curious to where you bought it. But regardless, they will all give you the same bs excuse of how they are out of stock, when in reality, they do. They just dont want to let it go for that price while mining is still hot.

If I were I would continue to call them up and bother them until you get it. Sell it, make profit, and then grab a 780ti

I'm a "right the fuck now" kinda guy so I would've canceled the order back in January and opted for 780Ti's. Getting stuff 4+ months after you buy it ain't for me.

I ordered through a company called Ingram Micro. They are a distributor I use at work. And before anyone goes looking, no you cannot just order from them, you have to have a business partnership account with them..
