update manager... weird issue

I'm having an issue on this ESXi server... where firmware updates don't show up correctly as installed in update manager. Other patches appear fine. What is strange to me, is that the firmware is clearly updated, the build number is correct... but no matter how many times I scan it it shows up as non-compliant. Attempting to repatch just results in a reboot, as there is nothing to install.

Any ideas what I can do to get it in sync? I tried removing the host and adding it back to attempt to clear up any DB related issues, but it must be something not being reported correctly to update manager by the host. Just really not sure, and unfortunately our support methods don't allow me to contact VMware directly. Its a huge hassle to get support.

Hopefully lopoetve can assist, or maybe someone else on here has seen this before.
