I have a SB83G5. The BIOS file I got was a .bin file, with NO instructions at all. What do I do with this file?

Update BIOS in Shuttle...

On Shuttle web page You can download WinFlash. Start it. No other programs should run in background. Then back up exsiting BIOS in File. Then erase BIOS and then program new from a bin file You have downloaded. When it asks for restart restart.
Then restart agian and go into a BIOS and setup Your settings.
Ther You are. Now bench Your system to see if everything is O.K.
If somethign s wrong like to low memory score then reset/Clear CMOS then set up BIOS again and then bench again.
I have had situation that I've went to new version and my memory score was half from what I've had
Then I've checked BIOS settings and timings where 2336 1T but in Windows I could see 2T and 3348!??
Then I've cleared CMOS and setup timings again and everything worked fine.
It happend once in many many updates I've done on Shuttle mainboards but it can happen so check it out.
If something is wrong go on old saved version and if it still wrong then clear CMOS again. That it wont work good even with old BIOS is good sign that something is wrong with CMOS values hence clearing it will help.
