Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
But when I switched from my 9800 XT to a 6800 Ultra I had some problems where the games would stutter alittle. A clean OS format and a slipsteam install of SP2 fixed all my issues.
It will take a minute (nothing will appear on screen though) then ask you to reboot... Do so and hit F8 during the boot process and go into Safe-mode.
Then run the utility as per the directions for the utility (don't let it "install new hardware')
Then shut down and install the new cards and boot as normal with the new cards in your PC (again don't let it "install new hardware"). Once into windows install the new Nvidia drivers and reboot again.... Should work properly at that point.
