Uninstall Maze4 Setup...please help!

Hi there. =) I want to finally remove my maze4 setup in my computer. It's been good to me but I just don't want to deal with it anymore. Rather have a nice silent heatsink and a cleaner inside to my case (though the blue uv water is cool). ANYWAYS...

I want to uninstall the system but how do I bleed the water out? I know that seems like a stupid question but I can't figure out the best way. I have a bay res but I don't know how to utilize that to help me dump the water out. Once I drain the system, i think it should be ok. just remove the mobo/tray and start unscrewing. =)

Thanks in advance.

PS. Anybody have any ideas on why my computer will not boot (or shut itself off) if I move my fanbus switch to low instead of high or off? Let me explain: I have a large 120mm fan attached to my radiator and have the fan controlled by a small fanbus inside my case (each switch has a high/low/off). For some weird reason, if the switch controlling the big fan is set to low my computer won't boot and if I switch it to low when the computer is on the whole thing will shut off. Weird, right? I don't know if it's the fan or not. Thanks!

I would just start ripping the tubes off before you turn off the system...

...j/k...

You should be able to unmount it all with out draining the system first. after you have it all out then drain away... as far as the fan bus thing, it sounds like there is a short in your system somewhere.

Merry Christmas!

Hmm...ok, now can I unscrew the maze4 cpu block without taking out the mobo? Oh, wait...I could just unscrew it, take out the water system, and then take out the mobo to remove the four bolts that held the block down. Clever...I don't think I was thinking.

Any idea for what to put into an open 5.25 bay? =) No more pretty bay res...

Why did you decide to go back to air cooling? You said something along the lines of not wanting to deal with it anymore but since when is water cooling high maintenance? Or did you have some problems with it?

Power down, remove W/C, clean proc, reapply HSF, done.

btw: details on your setup? mght want to buy parts of it...

Well, first off, everything is in perfect condition...only used it for about 5 months. I have the maze4 gpu and cpu block, ehiem 1250 pump (with ac adapter), black ice extreme chrome rad and a acrylic bay res. It has been great but really the problem with the fan on the radiator has been the whole downfall. I can't put it in high since it is too darn loud (but it gets GREAT temps) and then when it is off it is near silent but the temps are probably not that much better than an air cooled setup (45-50 idle and 55 full burn on a 2.4c@3.0). If I could leave it on low I really feel I could hover around the 45 mark while playing games and not worry about it.

Also, I have to keep moving my case to and from school and that's not too much fun with all the water in there. I've never had any leaks, breaks, or malfunctions...been pretty impressed and happy with my first foray into WC'ing. BUT...it's time to move on. =) If you want any of the parts I'd be more than willing to talk to you about them...probably give you a great deal!
