Uninstall cards when changing mobo?

I just ordered a new mobo with a AMD64 3000+. I'll be switching these with my Epox 8K3A+ and have a question about the pci cards. Because my new mobo will have a different number of slots I'll be moving my pci cards (tv tuner, sound card, wireless network card) around so is it best to totally uninstall the pci cards and their drivers? Or should I leave the drivers be and allow XP to find them? Never switched mobos before so any help would be great. Thanks.
 
After switching to a new MB you will have to reinstall Windows anyway so don't worry about what cards go in which slots.

Oh, wasn't aware of that. Do I have to actually reformat or just reinstall?
 
you dont have to format but its a good idea (move things off your decktop and windows will copy over itself, then move the stuff you want back) but your going to have to instal drivers and software all over again even if you do that and it works, so back your shit up, format, reinstal, everything
 
Alright guys thanks for all the info. My new stuff should be here tommorrow so I'll have all weekend to mess with it.
 
I highly recomend you to do a format of the drive and then do a clean install of windows.
