Okay, I wanted to get my cpu cold so I undervolted it and tested it and it seems stable enough, only thing is that my 3800+@2.2Ghz is only at 1.1Volts, it being out of spec won't reduce the lifespan of it will it? It runs alot colder now, it's idleing at 31C and under full load it only goes up to 39C, before it would idle at 35C and load at 48C.

Running a processor below spec would actually INCREASE its lifespan. BTW are u sure its stable 1.1 seems a little low, did u try running prime 95?

Yes I ran it for 1hour, although I should prolly run it longer, but an hour means its at least fairly stable.

Nice, i want to overclock your proc!

Don't worry its a shitty overclocker, it only gets 2.75Ghz@1.4Volts stable, I tried 2.8@1.5volts but my second core craps up on me at that and I don't want to go over 1.5volts as I told thats the edge of safety (and it gets up to 48C).

Edit: Oh and now I'm running at 2.3Ghz@1.125volts it's strange cause now my temps are exactly the same as 2.2Ghz@1.1volts, plus the memorys alittle faster.

You've probably reached a point where "slight" voltage changes won't make much of a difference and max clock rate changes unless drastic has always shown less in temperatures then voltage changes.

Yea, right now I'm running at 100% load priming both cores but only at 2.1Ghz now@1.075volts, and the temps only 37C, so I guess lowering Mhz and voltage about .5volts gives a nice drop in demperature, it was actually idleing at 29C though.

The trick I guess is just give it enough voltage to make it stable.

undervolting won't damage.. it just reduces your noise margins in the circuits. in other words.. you CPU as a high change of fucking up a calcualtion.. however.. if you test extensivly i'd say you're okay..
