Ultra-Noob OC Query

do i just raise the FSB to 300 ? I mean from, for example, 200 to 300 or
do I work up small increments ? and if so, what are those increments ?

Also, I've read that any change to your FSB can negatively effect other
components tied into the FSB, true ?

Rig: Q6600, Giga DS3, 8800GTS, XPSP2.

I am a noob OCer but I can tell right now that you can go all the way to 333Mhz with your FSB with your Q6600... in fact you start from 266Mhz!!

Just read the stickied thread on this forum, its just a 10 minute read that will guide you to Ocing a Q6600 with a lot, and I mean A LOT of info to noob OCers!

Regarding your second question, if you have linked memory bus its possible to f*ck things up... as I said READ THE FIRST THREAD!!!
