Alright so I was sand blasting a case to get some old paint off the do some work to it.. and after while sand blasting one of the side panels I noticed it was starting to warp. one of the panels corners ended up being bent upwards (interior side started to fold over).

Is there anyway to fix this? My guess would be to heat it up and then try bending it back or placing heavy weights on top of the panel.
 
You just have to bend it back somehow. And next time, pay more attention to what you're doing. You can't sandblast sheet metal without bracing it somehow.

Bend it back. Put it in a wood fixture/jig next time. Preheat and/or don't let it get so warm. :)
 
I didn't know it would need bracing, and I don't think i'd be able to fit any type of fixture into the sandblasting machine. Here is a picture though. I didn't think it was as bad as it actually is. Going to try to heat it up and bend it back and then put some books on top of it so it doesn't move after it's bent back.

Eh, it's not terrible. Putting on the case will drawn it back to shape, right? Or at least while its on the case. If you're going to heat it, heat it on the concaved side. Get the metal to expand and try to warp a little the other way. But honestly, it will probably never be flat again, but that's okay.
 
Try the car dent trick, heat it up with a heatgun/hairblower and then empty a can of lightergas on it (do it in that garden of yours :D ), and maybe it will pop back into shape.
 
I think that trick is more for dents that have built-in stress. The side panel isn't restrained like a dent in the middle of a car panel would be. So I don't think it's going to respond the same way. If it does, it's just going to warp in a different way.

I'd either:
A) leave it be, because it probably conforms to the case when you mount it
B) mount to a fixture that fixes the shape and heat it up and let it cool naturally at a slow rate.
