ugh...? Linksys

Hi guys....

need some help here...

I setup my Linksys router and setup the connection using PPPoE and all that...switched on the MAC address filtering and enable the WEP 128 Hex Key....

problem is that one try to connect to the linksys using my PowerBook, it asks me for the wep password....

which is the WEP Passphrase....isn`t it??

I'm lost! I did this sometime ago and now cannot figure it out!

Nope, that's the long long string of chars you'll need.

that passphrase is just an easy way to generate the password
