U2713HM dust problems

I lurked around in the Displays forum long enough to finally make an account :)

Based on the many recommendations here I bought u2713hm from Amazon late last year. After 3 exchanges I finally got one that's perfect enough (only 1 dust particle) but fast forward a couple of months, I discovered 10-15 more specs behind the screen around lower left and right corners when cleaning the monitor a few days ago.

I called Dell and they agreed to send replacement. However since I forgot to register the monitor right away when I bought it, it's still under Amazon's name. Now it's under the process of getting it registered and it's taken 2 days already :(

My questions
1. Anyone has similar issues?
2. It seems Dell will send me refurbished monitors - I'm fine with that but the replacement need to be at least in the same or better shape of my original one. How many exchanges does Dell allow? I recall some members getting new ones instead of refurbished during exchange, how do you request that?
