Well my first post here... but anyways i would be wanting to build a new computer around the time of Conroe coming out, Anyways the first question I have for today.

Well i was thinking of a U2-UFO case from MountainMods, its expensive, but I also like how its different.

Does anyone have any experience with this case? I was mostly wondering about how loud it is, I think i would put Yate-loon fans in it, simply becuase they are quiet and cheap :), also on a fan controller. If its a quiet case i might go for it simply becuas i could fit a radiator in there with no modification, and such.

But if it is louder (as im worried it is), i would probably go for a Lian-li pc-210b, But that would require more mods to get a window and a large radiator in.
 
The have great workmenship and are desinged for water cooling apps in mind.
The noise is what ever you make it. Fans, Hd's, water pumps ect is most of the noise of a computer.
 
Just that Some cases are supposed to damped noise relitively well, Probably becuase some come stock with sound dampening, but anyways, is the acrylic relitively thick, so that it stops noise/vibrations. (If that made any sense)
 
google silent pc and look at all they have to offer. if you want silent do not think about OCing it much if at all.
Also they sell the sound liner that you can put on the inside of any case.
 
It should be very easy to install noise damping into the UFO, because everything is removable. If you're going to WC, you wouldn't have to worry about heat, and even if you don't, there should be enough airflow to keep things cool even with damping. Also, Yate Loons are pretty damn quiet, especially if you use a fan controller. I think a UFO would be a good solution (I'm considering one myself).
