Typing Cursor Thing Speed Rate

I'm curious to know why it's so fast. My PC settings are set to Medium but this is going at the highest rate. Does have something to do with the board? It's kind of confusing me as I type. In FireFox, it doesn't really move that fast at all but stays stable. Any chance of putting it back to normal?

I really really doubt this is a forum setting. If it is then it isn't working for me. Have you tried with a different computer?
