Tyan Thunder K8SD Pro Case?

I am headed to amd tech tour and have ordered one of the server bundles that come include a Tyan Thunder K8SD Pro

now, i have no idea what kind of case or psu i would need, the target location does not have a rackmount or anything.


Any help would be appreciated :)
 
Good question, I was thinking about going for this server too... Would be nice to see how much everything else would cost to get the system up and running.
 
yes, it is just a webserver for us, but is such a good deal...

i think these are the parts i am going for:

PSU - Antec True 380W
CASE - Chenbro SR105
HDD - Seagate 160GB 8MB SATA HD
RAM - ValueSelect 2x512MB


wil cost about $270

edit: hmm, i need registered ddr :(

its gonna cost about $400, which is still not too bad...
 
i was planning on just using onboard video for this machine

i dunno what your other options are
