I've been wondering how Two Worlds utilizes PhysX & if its taking advantage of my GTX 280 through the Nvidia PhysX drivers. Does anyone have any experience with this or know of a good resource to explain the implementation?

i ran it before with ppu physx a while back and i think all it may have done was boost performance a bit, but nothing that will change the visuals or gameplay one iota. you could run the game with physx via the cpu and i doubt it will change much performance-wise over the 280.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing things but the ragdoll physics looks more realistic to me now than it did when I played the game around the original release date. I haven't noticed any difference in terms of performance though.

Thanks for replying.

you're probably right, don't think i paid much attention to that.

Well not to sound like a douche but isn't that something you should be looking for when you're playing a game with physics enhancing things like a PPU or GPU used as a PPU? :)

not really, at least not for this particular game, since i realized it was only software based physx implementation

I notice a lot when I play games. Why should I stop taking it all in even when enjoying a game? No matter if its an RPG, FPS, MMO or any other genre I love to play; I soak it all up & make sure I'm getting the deepest experience possible.
