I saw a review of this case, the Lian Li PC-343 , in Maximum PC, and the first thing I thought of (after "That thing is friggin HUGE") was putting two seperate systems into one case. It's really only designed for one motherboard, but I could just buy a spare Lian Li motherboard tray and mount it to the left side panel. Obviously I'd have to re-do the back panel somehow, but it still seems do-able. What do you think, is it worth the messing around, or should I just buy two of these and duct tape them together? :p
 
You could certainly do it. Plenty of people have put two systems in one case before. It'll take a fair amount of work, but it's certainly not impossible.
 
Wow theres a lot of room in that case.

With that tray that project does not look too hard at all.
 
I think the Thermaltake Mozart has the ability to. But yeah, I almost grabbed on of those Lian-Lis one time. I like them and they will easily hold two separate computers. Probably would make a good storage closet as well. ;)
 
a person on this forum has a mm case with a server on oine side and a gaming machine on the other
 
Thanks for the encouragement, and especially for the Mountain Mods link. I'd never heard of them, but those cases are sick and would make this an easier project, and cost about the same as the LL.

granted this is a total custom build, but its definately possible, in this case he's running 2 C2D rigs off of 1 PCP&C 510 PSU
 
I would go for the Mountain mods case. It costs a little more but by the time you mod the Lian Li and go through the troubles it is probably worth the price difference not to mention MM cases are built very solid.
