i have a abit ic7-g and have a audigy2 platinum pro. I have two 5.1 speakers and would like to hook up both of them. Is there any way i could hook up both the speaker to my audigy 2. if thats not possible could i run both the sound cards at once.

You can have many soundcards in your box at the same time. You select between them in Control Panel. Only one can be active at any time.
 
you can use as many sound cards as you want, as long as they play well together. some do not. most apps will have option for one or the other as output, but not both atr the same time.
there is probably a way though.
