Hello all,
I have two little questions
a)Where can you order those square push-in mounting bracket things for motherboard trays?

and

b) On a certain case I want to hack away on(Old case, just using the mobo tray), for the I/O port panel - The shield is held by some weird steel bit and and some screws, meaning that normal shields won't fit. I enclosed a picture, I was thinking if I dremel where the green is I could fit a normal shield in.

For what case, I've seen "those square push-in mounting bracket things" used in Lian-Li cases, Yeong Yang cases, SuperMicro cases, et al. What specific case are you looking for motherboard mounts for?

"Yup, those" doesn't really answer my question. But okay, since you're being vauge about exactly what you're looking for:

Lian-Li OEM Case Parts

Included in that kit are 18 Lian-Li style motherboard stand-offs for only $8.99. If the case isn't a Lian-Li case don't blame me if they don't fit. That's why I was asking exactly what case you're looking for replacements for.
 
...also, in answer to the other question. What guage is the steel you're butchering to fit a standard IO shield in? As long as the metal is thin enough you'll have absolutely no problem. Use another case you have laying around as a stencil to determine exactly where to cut... then go to it. Once you're done just pop in the new IO shield.

Thanks for the Lian Li oem bits, the thickness of the steel is like 1mm
