Ok well i just recently bought the ati tv tuner wonder pro remote... 100 bucks.. i love it and ive got everything nicely setup but the tv program is annoying me. I have a dual monitor setup and when i drag it, it freezes. Then whenever i alt tab from a game, it freezes or gets messed up. It just keep randomly freezing on me. Everytime it freezes i need to reboot manualy because the program is still running but its not running the tv and it can never end process it.

Another thing is, i cant get the preset buttons on the remote to work.

System specs :
AMD Barton 2500+ (currently not O/C)
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe E
512MB PC3200 Corsair XMS LL
ATI 9800Pro
ati tv tuner (mentioned above)
Maxtor 160GB IDE 7200
Liteon 16x dvd and 52x cd-rw
350w antec trueblue psu
sb audigy2 zs

Anyone know whats up?

I have an MSI tv card. It also freezes when any part of the picture touches my second monitor. I think this is because the card requires hardware acceleration to be able to draw the picture to screen, and anything thats even partially on the second monitor is done almost completely in software. For instance, anything direct3d that normally uses hardware switches to software rendering when it is displayed on anything but just the primary display. To see this, download atitool at atitool.ocfaq.com and show the 3dview. Put this on your main monitor, then drag it to the second monitor, or half on both monitors. On my computer, framerates drop from 110 to around 14 in these situations.

As for the alt tabbing in games, this is caused by the change of resolutions. When a game changes the resolution, all windows are pushed over, especially on the second monitor. On my computer, this can often make the TV window move over onto the other monitor, restarting the computer. The most annoying thing for me is that it happens often when coming out of the TV program's fullscreen mode.

If you can find a fix for this problem, I'd really love to know.
