I was wondering what is the best Tv tuner/capture card to go with.Im new to this but im considering turning my 64bit i got now into a media center with dvd's and movies on it.But i want a card that will record movies off my cable tv.Thanks
 
I've always been a huge fan of ATi's All-in-Wonder line, so you might want to check out if their standalone TV tuners (TV Wonder I think they're called) have a good reputation.
 
Hauppauge - Hands down. For the average person the PVR-250 or PVR-350 will suffice. Difference between AIW and PVR is hardware encoding.
