Hey , I found the wires inside my case, yet I ripped through the manual looking for a picture or any kind of directions to hook them up i cannot find. I can't find it anywhere...
its for a Soyo Dragon SY-KT600

Thanks,

like a 15-20 dollar one off of newegg. nothing fancy has a bunch of hte single pin connecters i just dfont know the order they go in, it has 2 usb ports ont eh front

Go online and get a pdf manual for your motherboard. It mshould contain the pinouts.

You need to use the top diagram, the "USB 2/3 Front Panel" thing.

Now, the individual pins inside your case, what do they say? They should have some writing on them. You figure that out, and then simply match them up....

there is no correlation between the two at all:). these say 1 with a circle plus vcc or plus d =/

USB wires are coloured Red-White-Green-Black and are connected in that order.
In the manual it looks like the two channels are interlaced.
So wire then up starting with Pin 1 Red1-Red2-White1-White2-Green1-Green2-Black1-Black2.
Where 1 is the first channel and 2 is the second.
Pin 10 looks as if it the common shield ground so if your cable has an extra ground wire you can use it there but its not needed.

Hope this helps.

Luck.......:D

If it a single yellow wire then it the common sheild ground.

Just exactly which wires have you got.
Names/Colours will help.
You should have something similar to....
2 x Red - VCC
2 x White - Data-
2 x Green - Data+
2 x black - GND
1 x Yellow - GRD ? <- Not needed

If you have more then it may not be the USB conector wires you are trying to connect.

Luck.......:D

I have that same mobo and my front USB works fine with a Chieftec (Antec rebranded) Dragon tower. If you need me to look at anything and report back let me know.

By the way, what do you think of the board? Have you had any problems with it?
