Trying to decide...

So, I am currently running 5750 Crossfire (my who rig is in my sig). I've started to really notice the higher noise levels that I've had since going to the crossfire setup.
My wife has my old ASUS EAH 4870 DK TOP 512mb. The issue is, the 4870 is really overkill for her right now, and ends up being much noisier, hotter, and power hungry than she needs.
I'm selling a few parts that I had laying around, and am now considering selling that 4870 as well and thought I'd poll the [H] crowd for opinions on how you would proceed in my position.
Here is what I'm considering-
A) keep what I have- I really have enjoyed the performance I've gotten from my 5750s.
B) Sell the 4870 and give my wife a 5750, buy a 6850 for my PC, have an extra 5750 for a possible future HTPC or Christmas gift, etc.
C) Sell the 4870 AND a 5750, give my wife the other 5750, buy a 6850 or 6870 for my PC.

I know the 6850 will be a slight step down from what I have now, but an improvement in the consistency of my performance without having to deal with Xfire, but it should also be a step down in power usage, heat, and noise, without a noticeable difference in performance. A 6870 should be an improvement in all the same areas, and ALSO increase performance slightly, but costs an extra $60. Sticking with what I have is fine, I just thought it looked like a decent opportunity to improve my power, noise, and heat with very little extra cost to me, especially with the possibility of decreasing my electricity bill a little since my Wife's computer is on pretty much all the time, with only the occasional game where a 5750 would be plenty of horsepower with much less power/heat.
In my position what would you all do?

Thanks. Also- I do turn them off when I'm not using them- my wife is a stay at home mom with a 2.5 month old baby at this point, so she's often using her computer throughout the day ;-) Mine stays off when I'm not home, and both go off at night.

The wife-PC gets some light gaming action, a 5450 would make someone rip their hair out if they gamed on it

Those don't really help as with the work required, and loss of warranty to change coolers vs. selling a card and buying another doesn't help- also doesn't help my wife's 4870 hot powerhog problem while still giving her SOME gaming capabilities. She plays SC2 with me sometimes and a few other games, so a 5450 isn't enough.
