Odd issue here with sleep mode on my PC. Win7 64 bit on an SSD.

PC used to go to sleep after 30 minutes and keyboard/mouse would bring it back no problem.

About two weeks ago it started doing something strange. Once it sleeps, mouse/keyboard no longer brings it out of sleep. I have to press the power button, and even then it takes exactly three tries that act like this:
1. press power, the keyboard LEDs come on, i can hear the fans spinning for a second then back to sleep.
2. press power second time, keyboard LEDs, fans and HD spin another second, back to sleep.
3. press it a third, whole thing comes on, shows bios screen, wakes up like normal and functions with no issues.

Any suggestions or settings I should check? SSD issues? Power supply or motherboard going? I reset CMOS and bios, re-checked all my sleep and windows settings and all wiring.

Try reinstalling Windows from scratch, before updating windows (and after installing latests SSD drivers and the rest of drivers) , test your sleep mode. Then update windows and test again your sleep stuff
