Hey...just throwing this out there....

I'm setting up a system for Taco Bell. They've got an Emperor Gaming Chair that's running 3 monitors. The PC is an i7 920, 6gb RAM, and 2 ATI 4890's in Crossfire.

Windows 7 is the OS.

The triple monitor setup works amazing, but in game (Burnout Paradise for example), I'm getting like 8 FPS. And that's with most graphics settings turned waaaay down.

The people who designed the chair ran a VGA cable from the PC to the TripleHead2Go. And from the TH2G they ran DVI-D cables. Could this be the cause of my problems?

I've updated all drivers, firmware, software, etc etc. HELP!! I need to get this running by noon today for the big shots at Taco Bell Canada.

Thanks for the help!

Just to test, try disabling the crossfire and see if frames improve with one card.

same thing...even worse actually. It's not crossfire that's affecting it.

Very confused!

If you have an extra dvi on hand try hooking it straight from the PC to the triplehead2go.

If there's DVI in on the triplehead2go, you should be using DVI... so find another cable. VGA is dead. If there isn't... good luck.

The triplehead has a DVI input, and I'm heading to the office now to see if that makes a difference. I just can't see how changing the cable will change the performance.

Considering the system you've built, I'm sure you probably already know that PCs can be finicky as fuck sometimes.

Anyway, good luck with that build dude.

Curious, have you tried the system without the triplehead2go just to make sure it's not the computer?
