Triple screen advice sought

What would play/look better: U2711 + 2x NEC EA231wmi or 3x NEC EA231wmi?

I know that sounds kind of weird, but I like the idea of having a bigger center display. Plus the aspect ratio of the U2711 is the same as the EA231wmi, so I can set the center screen to 1080p resolution when gaming. Would it work well? Is there a monitor stand that would accept configuration? Or should I just go will all identical 23" monitors?

My advice? Don't do it. I had an eyefinity setup for about a year with 3 2209WA's - all in all, I'd rather have one large screen. Personal preference of course...but, meh, eyefinity is somewhat overrated imho
