Trifire vs sli

Well, with trifire at 2560x1600, no AA/AF all maxed, I can get on average 90fps... Sometimes goes into 150-200 in singleplayer and down to around 60 in multiplayer.

but I want to run BF3 5040 x 1050 on max settings without AA.

Anyone have experience/references? Cant seem to find a comparison at this res w/ BF3

Probably want more VRAM. It's going to be limited by the amount on the 6970.
