Tricky wireless problem!!! Help!

Thanks for looking at this post. I have a wireless Linksys router, model BEFW11S4. For some reason, it is not allowing AOL instant messanger to connect through the talk or video connections. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks.

Try the Networking forum - people who frequent there may know better.

make sure that the port that AIM uses isn't being blocked by the router.

You will probably need to port foward - i'd check with aim to see if they list the ports that need to be opened.

Next time use the networking forum...

But anyways...

Update the FIRMWARE off of the website. Then turn on upnp or whatever its called. It will automatically open ports for certain programs and stuff.
