TreeSize showing different SSD Usage then Windows?

Windows is showing the simple sum of all of the file sizes, but TreeSize shows rollup aggregates as size on disk. That is to say, TreeSize is including wasted cluster space. If you're using a default NTFS allocation unit size of 4KB, but you have a file that's only 1KB, it still will consume 4KB on disk--3KB is wasted. Neither number is necessarily wrong, but one could argue that TreeSize is giving you a more accurate picture of effective consumption.

Edit--Now that I look closer, your TreeSize window shows your total wasted space: 0.2GB. I don't have a good answer for the remainder of the difference.

Yeah i don't either. My drives max size is 119gb but its showing im using 94.1gb and still have 28.9gbs free which doesnt make sense since i only have 119 total space.
 
It's because of the winsxs folder. This causes some files to be counted twice or more, but treesize may be smart enough to handle those files properly and count them just once.

But its showing more usage then Windows is though.
 
I would see if the Program Files folder is the same as what windows reports. Or are all folders slightly over counted?
