Totally random reboots

All the sudden I started getting entirely random reboots, on my machine. Now I just OCed my vieo card, but thats completely stable, and I ran 3dmark03 for like 9 hours last night through to this morning and nothing happened at all.

I shut off 3dmark and go to mozilla to check the weather before I go to school, and bam "what the hell" -me. It just shut off and rebooted, no overheat warnings, and I'm not OCing anything.

It's telling me thats its a device driver, but I just uninstalled the nvidia driver, my AGP driver, and reinstalled them both in order (nvidia 1st, then AGP, like its reccomended)

When I get the error report it says that a device driver has caused the probem, but the only unsigned driver I have is the one for my monitor (see sig)

I don't get it, how can I game and run 3dmark for hours on end with no problems, but I go into the desktop/mozilla and it crashes.

Thanks for any help, I'm doing this really quick before I leave, so if its really f'ed up LMK and I'll get back to you in school:p

Sounds to me like either the power supply is not too good or the cpu/memory needs more voltage.

I've never seen a problem with the PS voltages or anything.

I'll check the RAM voltage, but I mean, I've run memtest for like 9 hours and it came out with nothing.

hey, it just happened again. It seems like it only happens when I'm online/using mozilla, if that would make any difference.

Maybe you have a Worm :).

So whats the last thing you installed or uninstalled when it did it the first time?

when it started doing it for the 1st time it was after I was playing with the clock speeds on my video card.

But would an overclock that went too far be able to do that, and only in a 2d environment?

I've run 3dmark03 for 9 hours straight with no problems what so ever... not even any artifacting. But the only thing I notice is a small green line in the very upper lft of the screen when I boot but then I get nothing else the entire time I'm on it.

Also I'm running AVG and I keep it up to date like every week at the very minimum, have run spybot and ad-aware, neither come up with anything. Maybe I should check again just to be sure, and I have AVG schedualed to run a full system scan at like 4 in the morning every day.

hmm... did it again. Still don't know what device driver would be making it do this. Maybe some logitech driver or something?

Edit: could uninstalling and reinstalling the nvidia drivers with different versions (52.xx and 53.03) make any problems if I didn't use the driver cleaner in between?
