Im Not Sure If This Has Been Convered I Looked But Didnt Find Anything On the Subject.

There Your Name Is To The Left It Has Where You Are Such As [H]ard Gawd, Just A Gawd etc. And Below That There Use To Have Been The Total Amount Of Posts. Is This Option Disabled For A Reason or Is There No Such Option With The New Software?
 
I noticed the missing post-count as well.

However, post-count never really mattered that much to me.

In all honesty, I used to think that post-count symbolized respect in terms of how knowledgeable and how dedicated certain members are.

...but, now that I have been a member for roughly 3 years, I have realized that post-count means nothing. More and more, I notice users joining the forums that have been involved in the IT industry for years, and are simply here to provide help to others, and maybe ask the odd question on one of the forums.

It used to be that a high percentage of new forum members were newbies with the intention of using the forums to help answer their questions and help them learn the ins and outs of PCs/networks. Now, that percentage has dropped entirely, and I notice more and more that forum-noobz happen to be net admins, PC specialists, database architects, programmers, etc.

...there was a point in all of this... ....hmmm... ...ahh ...yes, the missing post-count numbers are no loss. It no longer represents what it used to.
 
I'm glad they're gone from the thread view. It's sad when people who are new to the forum or don't post much get flamed for being a newb simply because of a low post count, as well as people with thousands of posts who really are dumb being listened too because of a high post count :D
 
now that i think about it your are right. people do flame people about the post. people dont listen to the person with 12 posts because they dont think they know what there talking about. so i guess its good that there gone.

If postcount or something similar to it matters to you that much, move your mouse over their name and look at their member number in the status bar.

not sure if you read all of the posts but i have decieded that its better off not there.
