Seriously Scorp, did you need the parts? I'll pick-up the shipping.

Also, are you getting monster Gromacs all the time? Curious as I look at your stats quite often and it appears that you are? Or whatever is going on with mine in recent days is wrong. But then I never know what's truly going on with mine, to be quite honest.

But since we started at about the same time, though I went off there for awhile, I compare ours.
This morning yours:

Mine:

Yet your points are much higher? Though I care nothing about the points! Still, I don't think mine finish. And I don't know where all those Active Processors come from.

Well I have plenty of parts but I have this list of items that could do on another boxen I wish to get running.

If you have any slot1 600mhz processors, If you have a pair of them or something between 500mhz or 600mhz slot 1 processors. I have this dual slot1 mb that requires a pair of processors. If you have a hd smaller than the 20gb like a 10gb or so, or if you only have the 20gb I will take it off your hands. I am in need of a standard atx powersupply 300watts, If you have one please send it my way.

Or if you have any wireless cards, pci wireless cards or usb I need one for this machine to be placed in the basement for folding. Networking woes with trying to get one of my wireless boxen to share an internet connection with 1 ethernet boxen.

All the big server boxen is in the basement crunching proteins, which if you ask is two machines currently up and running.
One being a dual p3 500mhz xeon and the other a dual p3 866mhz socket 370 machine, the later being a quad p3 xeon with 4x 550mhz with 1mb cache with at least 1gb or higher than 6gb of memory. Did I mention that the mb takes up to 16gb of pc100 ecc memory.

You see, this is a pretty small list for one boxen. If anyone sees this thread and wants to help me out, my computers are lacking one important item: Memory. And as much as you guys want to beat the aussies, I have this quad server that needs some loving, it is lacking it so far, it needs help too. I have ran out of money for parts for it, I just need help.

Well I was going toward an dually amd board, but for $29.99 it was a great deal and now finding out ups ground was $15.76, I will stay away for the moment of getting a dual amd board. I don't see myself pay: $45.75 for the dual board, for that price I could get a lot of the 4 p3 xeon processors I need.

If anyone in the [H]orde wants to take a crack at the ebay auction I have been looking at, please let me know. Hey guys I am sure you need another folding machine and you could assemble this one cheap.

Well I have gotten some more cheap parts for my quad server in the works. The last pair of retention modules were found, ebayed and will be sending a money order for it this week. The memory riser board auction went well and will be getting that soon. Only three more items till the monster is complete: 4x p3 xeon processors, 3x 12v vrms and 3x 300watt power modules.

Woot! I can only see the horizon now with the computer being completed.
