Hey all,

I would like to build my own case. I have no experience in it but its something that interests me. I have the tools mostly to do it, and what I need obviously I can get. What I don't have though is a plan. I do not know where to begin. Any of you have a few websites/links to pages that kind of walk you through the process of designing/building a custom case? I am just going to stick to air cooling also, no water for me at this time.

Thanks for any input.

What would probably make it easier would be to make the case off the frame of an existing case, but that restricts you to the size and shape of a standard case, which is pretty boring if you're making your own. You'd probably be able to use the motherboard tray and drive cages out of an existing case if you didn't want to use the frame.

I think the coolest thing you can do in this field isn't to make your own case from scratch but to use stuff that's not intended as a case as a case. If you dig my flow.

like Jello...if you could make a case out of jello, I would have to kiss your feet (figuratively speaking, of course).
