on my friends dimesions 2400 wehen installing battlefront on his computer there is a tnl error when trying to play can some1 tell me if the on board card supports it
 
Please post the exact error message, and the specs of the computer giving it.
 
Most likely his card does not have hardware T&L support.

So it's telling you that your adapter does not support T&L acceleration. What card is it?

Have you installed the drivers???
 
Obviously the on board video controller does not support TnL

you will have to upgrade by adding in a new video card that is able to play that game

SW Battlefront is a demanding game btw, you can see what i had to set the in-game quality settings at just to get it to play smooth enough on an X600Pro and GeForce 6200 here: http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=Njc0LDU=
 
It's probably Intel Extreme Graphics or something wonderful like that. Time to buy an add in video card, my friend.
