I'm glad I didn't purchase the ROG swift.. I just realized, unless it's weird coincidence:

TN is pretty much incapable of being used at lower than 6500k. If I try to set it to 5000k, on the XL2411T and on the U28D590 - the top becomes very dark and orange, even when viewing the monitor directly.


In any case, I'm still running dispcal on my new XL2411T. I'm trying to see if it's going to be tolerable (I put it back to 6500k) : even with the best OSD setting, the gamma is about 1.5!!! :eek:

I hope dispcal is capable of compensating. I can do it nvidia control panel, but then I get massive black crush.
 
Not a problem with me, I don't like the orange tint of 5000k anyway (much rather everything to be white).
 
i think in the dark, on a calibrated display 5000k looks closer to "white" than 6500k
