TMOS Display update

Hmmm... I don't think either of those will win against OLED. But they look interesting.. I would hate to have a MEMs display's moving pixels break on me.
 
I keep an on MEMs display tech, but they are more likely to show up in portables for power savings.

Other than that they don't have that much over LCD. Contrast is struggling to reach 1000:1 (microshutters leak).

Another concern is that you may end up with Rainbow Effect, since this essentially works like DLP projector.

Mirasol is another low power MEMs aimed at mobiles, Extremely low power and reflective, but the color quality is kind of weak. But Qualcom is building a factory for these this year:
