hey, I am doing a DVD player mod and I was wondering if you guys knew where I could find a small LCD that could replace the one inside of my DVD player? I've seen alot of these, but never really could find one, can anyone help?
 
umm, this might be really vague, but i remember i knew i guy who did some stuff in his car with some lil screens, and i think one of them was called a lilliput, maybe try googling that
 
the lilliput is a 5" - 7" or something actual LCD monitor, I believe he is referring to the lcd status screen thingy on a home DVD player. correct me if I am wrong, the original post is a little vague.
 
Post the dimensions of the visable area on the LCD and we'll try to help you. Saying "small" or "little" doesn't help much because both are relative. Dimensions are absolute.
 
I think he means the VFD display on his DVD (showing track, time, etc.).

You should be able to find a suitible LCD (alphanumeric, i.e. letters and numbers) at www.CrystalFontz.com .
