So work is sending me a new laptop. HP Zbook of some sort but I realize I need some kind of dock in order to get my 3 display setting going with it.

These things seem to swing wildly in price from like 30 bucks to 400 bucks. Anyone have one of these kinds of things? I need at least 2 display output options on it. 3 would be ideal so I can ditch my old USB displaylink adapter. Although it works fine would be nice to not need it.

HDMI ports would be best but display port works fine. I need to adapter two monitors to those inputs anyway since 2 of them are DVI output only.
 
I realize this is beyond the scope, but for $400 I would buy something like a Mantiz Venus eGPU enclosure and a used RX580. Then you’d get the ability to dock, get charged, get GPU acceleration, and have your USB 3 peripherals hooked up.

I personally find standard docks to be overpriced for what they are and do.
