Throttling a pump?

Is it possible to throttle a pump like you can a fan?
I like having complete control over my system.

I know the MCP655 can be adjusted, but is there a way to do that through software.
I thought of plugging the pump into a fan header on the mobo but they prolly draw too many amps dont they?

I really like Koolance's idea HERE.
But that's kinda pricy. anyone else have any ideas?

this will do it..

i have the t-balancer and i have my laing dcc hooked up to it... but startup has to be at 8v... so the pump doesnt do well on less than 7v..

Have you tried it in PWM mode? That might work better.

mine is only PWM not analog.. i have the full t-balancer not the FanAmp
