before, you had like 5 minutes after initial posting in which you could edit a post without it saying 'edited by tim on date'. after that 5 minutes you could keep editing it but it would simply say that it was edited.

it seems now that you can still edit a new post for like 5 minutes but after that the edit link disappears. curious if this was intentional or a default setting of the newer version of vB. also there aren't edit links on old posts.
