thoughts on x800 SE?

i would honestly stay away from any SE card.... they are all severly limited...

Completely untrue. SE cards are based on the current gen cards, just not up to the specs of the intended product. An X800SE started off being an X800, but was downgraded because of some manufacturing error. So in other words, it's quite possible that some of the SE cards slipped through the cracks and are perfectly capable of running at the step up card's specs. SE's can be an incredible bargain (especially the 9800SE's right now), but not in this case. For that money get a 12 pipeline 6800 with the possibility of unlocking to 16 pipes.
