Thought about this.....

If I was going to mount (on the side with no fan) a 80mm fan to my Leadtek 6800GT, which way would I want the air blowing? Down toward the card to cool it or pulling the heat away.

Pushing it at the card would be the only effective method, but then you'd be taking air from the HSF on your processor. So neither?

You could get one of those Zalman mounting brackets that let you place a fan above the card, which would push air on both sides, that could help all around.

Pushing at the card would be the only way you would get any cooling on the back side, but theres little to no point to doing that.

Upgrade the cooler on the front of the card!
