So I went to my Bios and changed 12x185 to 11x184 when I got back it said I was still running at 2220. So I went back to my bios and said it was 11x185 so I saved it again came back and it was normal but this ever happen to you guys before? I'm wondering if it would have stayed that speed if I didn't save it again.

Nope, what board you running?
Maybe you have a failing CMOS battery or sumthin seems strange if it doesn't register new saved settings right off..

When I have a board/chip that does not want to run any higher I have had that happen
