I'm thinking about replacing my Black Ice GT 240 with something a little beefier. I've got the room in the top of my case for a triple, just need to drill the holes.

I can go local and pick up a MCR320 and be done with it, or I can order a Black Ice GTX or Thermochill.

Before I go all nuts, I'm wondering if it's worth it. I'm mildly overclocked on both CPU and GPU (specs in sig), and I can get decent temps with the fans turned down so that the pump is the loudest part of my system. Am I going to see something dramatic with a triple? Dramatic enough to justify taking my rig apart and cutting a new hole?

I'm also wondering about FluidXP - my local Microcenter has a bottle of the black coolant, but I've never used FluidXP. I like the look of it, but it's an unknown.

Opinions?

To give you some idea, My setup (Q6600 and 8800GTS, in sig) with a Thermochill PA120.3, D-Tek Fuzion and EK FC8800 GTS give me a max of 38C on the hottest core at full load and the GPU never reach 40C during intensive 3DMark sessions.

 
Well, it's all academic now :)

Just dropped by Microcenter and picked up a Thermochill PA120.3 and a q6600. I've got the barbs for the PA on order, so looks like this weekend before I can have another build day.

Installed the q6600, still working on dialing in the voltages, but I've got it running at 3.4ghz, 40C idle, 57C load on my current rad. Pretty darn sweet for the price.

I decided not to go for the FluidXP. Went with the PC Pure from Primochill, along with some Primochill tubing. Dunno if I'll like it better than my Home Depot tubing, but I'm willing to give it a try.
 
Well, that went horribly wrong, somewhere.

I ended up with a Swiftech MCR320 QP radiator, just waiting on my grill at the moment. I also played around with the Q6600. Damn, I know what you folks meant about quad cores and heat now. I'm still tweaking the voltages for stable at 3.6Ghz, and I'm idling at 40C, hitting high 50's with prime95.

Stable...but hotter than I'd like.

EDIT: While I'm at it - Yate Loon's for a Swiftech Radiator? Good idea?

Ooops. Forgot to note that I had done that.

I think my problem is mostly ambient temps and the voltage I'm running. We've had a spate of warm weather here in Atlanta - with the air conditioner back on, I'm back to low 50's at load.
