What is the correct orientation for this heatsink? When the case is upright, should the pipes be coming out of the bottom, top, left side, or right side?

edit: Actually, in my K8N Neo Platinum, there is no way to have a left to right or vice-verse orientation since the mounting holes are on the sides of the bracket. I tried it with the pipes coming out of the top but it looked as though the large overhang would interfere with my video card, so it seems as though there's only one way.

if its not perfectly centered, put it whichever way will have the fan offset towards the ram so it can help cool those as well.

Ideally you want to follow these tips: http://www.thermalright.com/a_images/sp97/sp97dim.gif

But Thermalright compensates for that:
Question 3: Does how heat pipes are oriented truly affect performance?

Answer: Due to the multiple heatpipes we use on the design to minimize the gravitation effect on Heatpipe performance, we at Thermalright tested only 0.05celeius/W on an open case environment for best/worst scenario with Panaflo FBA09A12H.

this is how i have it set. seems to be fine. idle temp is ~38, haven't really loaded it yet, but the AS5 needs to cure anyhow.
