Thermalright Case?

You better be trolling, because no normal person can type in all caps.

I doubt it'll be the heatsink case (but still possible, I imagine). It just doesn't seem right.

Then again, its Thermalright. What else could they possibly release? Will they branch out like Zalman?
 
Oh man... I have trouble mounting my TRUE sometimes... that thing has got to be an absolute mounting nightmare!! :eek:

I like the idea though.
 
That looks retarded and will never be mainstream IMHO.

Some reasons include:

Price
Dust
Weight.

It doesn't even have mounting screws to attach to the motherboard, something it would need in order to maintain proper contact with the chip.

Why would someone build a rig in that crap when you'd probably be able to put together a great watercooling system for much cheaper than it will cost (probably $250-400)

Hell most of the "heat" from the CPU would probably be dissipated long before it reaches 1/3 of those "fins".
 
Well, I dont know that the link I posted is what thermalright has in mind... that could have just been a concept.
