• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

The game is changing

I have seen discussions about this on the FAH forums. First seemed to be Ebay. Now on EOC through Google ads???

Note the expiration of the site. Seems a little shaky.:(

Is it me or has Google become the biggest Ad whores on the net?

I don’t know all the details of Extreme overclocking.com but I have to wonder if they know their name is involved in this.

The folding for Dollars Scam has come up before with little success, I mean really, how much will you spend to add to your points?

I don’t know much about WOW either but I understand people pay other people for points or some kind of WOW currency.

I all just sounds a bit too mercenary for my tastes.

If someone is willing to pay for more points all they need to do is just buy new folding rig;) instead of this ******* :)

What does it gain an individual?????
Come on, I mean this is losing sight of the reason we fold in the first place.

Wel;l it depends on the individual. The guy "fold farming" is gaining (I guess) but the payee is just getting a screw job. Hell you can buy a dual quad core Dell server right now for less than $1000 that will pump out some serious points..Unless this guy wants to sell me 10K PPD for $0.25 a day I see no reason. I would pay that just to get more science done (and lower the temps in my house :) )

I don't see anything wrong with this method. The only difference is that you pay someone's else to do more science instead of doing it yourself. There are lots of reasons for them to pay someone's else to fold under his name like your wive who allow only 2 box in your house and you wanted to increase the ppd output without adding the boxes.

I think it stinks. The guy should just fold for humanity, not for profit.......it's piss poor.

I would hope that he's folding regardless, then just changes the user/team settings when someone forks over the cash for however many points they want.
