They are pretty tricky and was wondering how they go. The plug has an arrow on one side and the motherboard has a negative and a positive. I always get messed up with these lights...

just try them each way. It doesnt matter if the plug is backwards, the light just wont turn on.

I really think that the worst that can happen is that whatever you are trying to hook up won't work. I did have one weird MoBo / case combo where the polarity of the power switch mattered. Rare, but if it won't start, it's quick to check.Originally posted by jamezzz122
