I just finished reading this book and thought it was really good. It is pretty old with some outdated technology but most of the concepts still apply today and is a great read for anyone into computer and network security.

Highly recommended.

It would be cool if somebody made a newer version of this story with the latest and greatest in computer and networking/internet technology.

I did like this one, its the art of intrusion by kevin mitnick. I really enjoyed the chapter on the casino. Good read.

The Cuckoo's Egg was a great book, read it years ago. Thanks for reminding me about it. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it.

The Cuckoo's Egg isn't fiction, those events really did take place.

Another good book about events of the time is "CYBERPUNK: Outlaws and Hackers on the Computer Frontier".
