I just wanted to say that I am very happy with my Big Typhoon.

E6600 @ 3ghz @ 25 degrees celsius (idle)

stock heatsink and fan had me at 32 degrees celsius.

These aren't die temps, but still....I am impressed at how good this thing cools and it is absolutely silent. Very easy install as well.

AS5 helped too, I'm sure. But make sure you read the updated instructions on how to use these with Conroes. The old "half a grain of rice" no longer is what Arctic Silver recommends!
 
Lots of people never notice that this is one bad ass cooler....I agree, I am very happy with mine.

I waited for 3 weeks to get a Scythe Ninja Plus or Tuniq Tower...and I'm glad I quit waiting. This thing is AWESOME and fits wonderfully on my P5W-DH. I don't know why more reviews don't rave about this thing.
 
me too, I love this cooler. The best I've ever had. I just hate the installation. With some time and patience, the payoff is excellent.

and Def, I'm glad it's perfect for you since I'll be receiving that board tomorrow. :D

The stock fan is very quiet and yet fast enough to cool well. My hard drives are louder. My old 7900GT was WAY louder, and most 80mm fans are louder.
 
I searched for a few reviews and this thing smokes my XP-90 I'm almost half tempted to pick one up.
